Claire & Mike are perfect! Being a part of their day was so great. They are both incredibly laid back and really had a sweet time with eachother that day. Their wedding was in the Hudson Valley here in New York and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Had such a rad time with these two and their daughter this day. Perfect New York weather, INSANE views of Manhattan. From this point you can see from Battery Park all the way up the Hudson river to the GWB. Love outdoor weddings in a city. Perfect! Aaaaaand they ended the night with a freakin firework show for them and all their guests. Genius. If you don’t end your wedding with a firework show I feel sorry for you. I immediately regretted not having one for my wedding. Enjoy their film!

Coolest couple ever! Mrs. Koko, an amazing artist & children’s book illustrator, Mr. Koko, an executive for one of the largest record labels in the world, living in both LA & NYC these two ride motorcycles, sing wicked karaoke, and paint the town red. You can also find them just chillin cozy on a friday night as well. I had the great pleasure of meeting these two a while back and putting together an engagement movie for them. Their wedding was nothing less than epic. Set in the penthouse of one of New York City’s most renowned hotels, Le Parker Meridian, there were insane views of Central Park in its entirety. The Kokos were so much fun to be with on their big day. Amazing couple, amazing family (FOB had a skull a top his cane), amazing friends. Enjoy!

About 2 hours north of Manhattan lies the lower Hudson Valley and the backdrop to this insane gorgeous day. Valerie & Mark are wonderful. So kind and calm all day. Valerie’s bridesmaids are all way to sweet and I felt like I was hanging out with old friends with him and his groomsmen. DJ DEEP! Sorry, inside joke throughout the day. Mark and all his groomsmen are DJ’s in New York City so you can imagine the fun they had. It was such a pleasure being with these two on their wedding day and making this movie for them. Penthouse overlooking New York City. Nothing better! This wedding was insane. Super intimate, just close friends and family travelled from all over the world. Hyonseo & Elliot live in London and traveled back here to NYC to get married. So honored that they chose me to make their film. What a sweet sweet couple they are. You can see their love for each other throughout their highlight film. Shooting in Central Park with them was so amazing. The lighting was perfect, the back drop, everything. The saxophone player played the whole wedding march for them and people couldn’t stop saying how stunning the bride looked as we walked through the park. Just watch this film already! Enjoy!

You’ve got to be kidding me with this place. So incredibly stoked to shoot this wedding in the south Hamptons. This winery was quaint and made for the perfect, homey, backyard feel. We had an amazing day, beautiful weather, and crazy good light all day. So much love from these two. They were so laid back and just flowed with whatever we wanted to do. The dance floor was insane! I was very impressed with the quality of dance moves going on that night. Joon and Mau, I admit, there might be some super shaky video during the dancing cause I was definitely participating. It was nice to shoot with my good friend, Trent Bailey, who shot their amazing photos. So go make some popcorn and stream their movie through your Apple TV. Enjoy!

What an amazing day we had with these two. I had the privilege to fly back to southern California for this wedding and was super excited to be there. The weather was amazing. Paige & Kyle and their friends and family were so relaxed and excited to spend the day celebrating their marriage. SEA Paddle NYC

It was such an honor to make this promo for Sambazon for the 5th annual Surfers’ Environmental Alliance (SEA) Paddle race around Manhattan. SEA is an amazing organization and last year raised over $400,000 to benefit SEA + Austism awareness. Sambazon was an official sponsor of the event and kept racers hydrated and energized throughout the day. It was great to be on the boat with the crew and get to see the beautiful views of my city from all angles. I had a blast at this wedding. Filming started the day before the wedding when Chelsea & Steve held a double decker bus tour of San Francisco. They had invited me to join them and since I was going to be in the city a day early I of course was not going to turn down that invitation. We all met down at the ferry terminal across the bay and headed into the city for the evening. I have never done one of these tours and was so glad that I had the chance to do it with this group. Amazing people, family, friends everyone was awesome. The wedding was held in Kentfield, CA., about 25 minutes north of San Francisco, at the Brides parent’s home. Their home is insane awesome. It is so quaint and beautiful there and was such a nice retreat from NYC for a few days. Chelsea & Steve couldn’t have been more easy going and ready for their day. They made it very easy to capture sweet moments of them. I had such a sweet time making this movie for them and it was refreshing to do a little something different. What a sweet sweet day this was. Susan & Brandon have so much Love for their families, friends, and one another. I had such a great time at their wedding. It was set at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse in San Diego, CA. It’s right on the bay and overlooks downtown. Amazing views! This was actually the first time I’d been thanked, in a speech, by the Bride & Groom, at the wedding. What an honor it was to be such a special part of their wedding. Karen & Lane are so chill. The early morning started out raining which had us all a little worried, but they didn’t seem to let it bother them. By the time we headed out to the stables, the weather had cleared and stayed gorgeous the entire day! Karen was so excited for her wedding day and could not have been more beautiful. Maria & Marcelino

Maria and Marcelino are such a awesomely in love couple. For their wedding we traveled to a small town called Santiago Tiengustenco. This quant town is nestled in the mountains about on hour outside of Mexico City. It was so great working with Musicouste, Aaron Shintaku, and Aaron Young. The amazing, surprise performance by Juan Gabriel was Maria’s wedding gift to Marcelino who is a huge fan of Juan Gabriel’s music. The Bride was very inspired by the fashion of India and their culture and based the look of the wedding around that. They got married at beautiful historic Church of Santa María del Buen Suceso, and their preparations and reception were at the family Ranch. Yuvinka & Nick

Yuvinka & Nick are awesome! The day was so beautiful and mellow. They were so relaxed and calm throughout the day which helps me to capture beautiful moments. I had a nice little broken spanish (by me) conversation with Yuvinka’s abuelita. Sweetest little grandma in the world. Jesi Haack was a megamind genius at designing this whole wedding. The details were amazing and Jesi really helped to make the day what it was. All the vendors for the day were great to work with. The music for this movie was written again by, my great friend/assistant/master composer, Brandon Gatlin. The banjo was recorded by yours truly! Thank you to all that made this day flow smoothly. Heather & Dana were such a joy to shoot. You can tell how relaxed the whole day was. Things ran so smoothly. There’s something about working with pregnant photographers that they are just so calm and collected. I love it. Dana and his guys were so easy going. Those guys have a lot of love for Dana and you can tell they were all super close. At the house with the girls was a very nice start to the day. Heather’s girls were there for anything she needed. The emotions were high that day and I loved it. Dana was so overcome with love and care for his bride, he couldn’t hold back his tears of joy. I especially loved this because it reminded me of the same way I felt as I too couldn’t hold back my tears of joy for my bride on our wedding day. The ceremony was short and sweet. Their pastor was so real and held nothing back. A truly wise man he is. The reception was held at Dana’s parents home just a few blocks from the park. A beautiful home over-looking the back bay in Newport Beach, CA. To top off the night…IN-N-OUT TRUCK!!! And a fry station! Geniuses these people. Almost everything was DIY by Heather. She did an amazing job and I’m thinking she should be a wedding designer. The dance floor was hoppin’ with limbo & love. All in all it was a great day. Congratulations to you Heather & Dana. So it’s official, we’re moving to New York in march. We now have new friends there and here’s a little sneak peak of those new friends. Shizuko & Eros are two of the most generous, geniune, caring people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. It was such a wonderful honor to be able to capture their wedding and make a movie for them. The ceremony was a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony and was very intimate. Their reception was amazing! Shizuko has a cousin who is an amazing break dancer and Eros has a cousin who is an amazing Zembekiko dancer. They had a dance off and both were equally awesome. I will try to get a featured post with the footage from the dance off later. The food, the people, the couple, all were amazing and wonderful to take part in. Congratulations to Shizuko & Eros. I want to hang out with Melissa & Brett all the time. They are great! This was by far the most relaxing, mellow, easy going, beautiful wedding I’ve been a part of. The day just seemed to flow so well. Probably because Brooke Keegan coordinated. There were so many amazing details to this wedding and I wish they could all fit in the preview. Melissa & Brett are such a wonderfully sweet couple and had me smiling the whole day. Other than randomly knowing some longtime friends at the wedding, they made me feel like I was part of the family. I had a wonderful time shooting Lisa & Paul.
